Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education Qualification:
Matric/10th standard with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
ITI (NCVT/SCVT) with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks
For boards with a grade point system, candidates must convert grades to percentage marks.
Age Limit:
14 to 21 years as of April 15, 2025
Relaxations apply (5 years for SC/ST candidates, further relaxation for special cases).
Selection Process
The selection process will include:
Preliminary Selection: Based on marks in Matric and ITI exams and age.
Written Exam: Consisting of objective questions in Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge.
Merit List: Based on written exam performance.
Document Verification/Interview: For candidates shortlisted from the merit list.
Final Selection: Based on interview performance and demonstrated technical skills.
Stipend
Apprentices will receive a stipend as per Rule 11 of Education Rules, 1992, ensuring fair remuneration during training.
